The new fast thermal receipt printer from EPSON – the successor to the powerful and popular TM-T88II – retains all the best features of its predecessor, but surpasses it in speed. Thanks to its internal 256KB memory, the TM-T88IV can print emblems or other graphics quickly and accurately.

With a print speed of 150 mm/sec, or 47 pps, at up to 38400 bps, the new printer from EPSON saves time in the sales process, saving users from useless waiting.

Only three steps are required to refill a new roll of paper: open the printer, insert the roll, close the lid. This not only simplifies the work of the cashier, but also reduces the training period to a minimum. Like all thermal printers, the TM-T88IV is virtually silent and delivers superior print results. It delivers high-quality, high-resolution horizontal and vertical bar codes, ensuring error-free scanner performance when reading. Designed for 52 million lines, or 360,000 hours of print time, the TM-T88IV offers maximum reliability and reduces cash register downtime to a minimum. It is fully compatible with the TM-T88II. Installing the new thermal printer requires no complicated software upgrades or other technical modifications. The TM-T88IV can simply be connected instead of its predecessor. The printer has a standard PC interface and a connector for one or two cash drawers.

New to Epson: The TM-T88IV comes with the PS-180 power supply, which is smaller, lighter and more economical than its predecessor, the PS-170.

The TM-T88IV is available in dark and light color versions (EDG, ECW) for wide 80mm paper.

With the launch of the TM-T88IV, EPSON has provided the perfect printing solution for the retail and service sector, offering fast, clear and quiet printing.

The TM-T88IV can be accompanied by optional equipment for ease of use:
